The Elements

When a witch is born into an element. It is a game of chance, nothing dictates which element you will be born into. Your element, however, will reflect your personality!
Every witch will have an element and the element is not considered a power but magic within you. A witch can summon their element but they cannot create it. They can wield it and manipulate it. Within reason. For example, a Fire witch would be able to set things on fire such as curtains or a trash can if there is a candle or lighter to help create the fire, But a Single witch can not spread fire over a large area alone... The same goes for water or air. A Witch could summon gusts or winds to dry her hair or knock someone over is enraged enough but she cant cause a town destroying tornado alone. Water is probably the easier to obtain as water is everywhere so please keep this in mind when choosing.....
****NOTE****
All magic is draining, using your element is draining as well. Simple tasks are minuscule, such as lighting a bonfire or making a puddle form. Bigger things like causing someone to get blown away or making an earthquake would be extremely draining. Please use common sense when Applying and Rping.

(Closed Element for Now!)
The element of fire (choleric)
Fire people are enthusiastic, impulsive, inspirational, humorous, dramatic and fun. They are natural performers. While fire people easily swing from one extreme to the other, it is important to remember that fire people speak and act straight from the heart. They deliver everything with passion.
And yet, fire people easily grow self-conscious when they speak before thinking (which happens fairly often). So, it is dire for fire people to learn to communicate that they are merely being pushy out of a desire to help. The fire person’s challenge is to learn to tame the “fiery beast” inside and create balance by drawing from the three other elements: water, earth, and air.
Positive qualities: vigorousness, zeal, enthusiasm, courage, decisiveness, power of creativity, daring, sedulity...
Negative qualities: quarrelsomeness, irritability, urge to destroy everything, passion, immoderacy, jealousy, voraciousness, vindictiveness, violence, hate, anger, sudden ebullition...

The Element of Air
The element of air (sanguine)
Air people are brilliant, curious, independent, talkative (they literally fill the air with words), observant, and entertaining, but they are also impractical and restless. Air people are intellectuals always on a quest for new information.
And while air people have an enormous propensity to develop new ideas and tell stories (they are perhaps the best storytellers), they have a hard time truly connecting emotionally to others, even though they want nothing more than to be completely understood. It’s crucial, then, for air people to learn how to give weight to their words and tap into the earth and be grounded.
Positive qualities: vigilance, care-freedom, kind-heartedness, trusting nature, clarity, lightness, independence, dexterity, optimism, diligence, acuity, joy, smiling...
Negative qualities: lack of perseverance, dishonesty, gossipy, cunningness, backbiting, garrulousness, inconstancy, touchiness, prodigality...

The Element of Water
The element of water (phlegmatic)
Water people are emotional, intuitive, deeply creative, empathetic, spiritual and psychic. Water allows people to emotionally connect with others. And yet, water people are so sensitive that they often have a hard time unplugging from life’s chaos. Consequently, many water people suffer from addiction as they grapple for a distraction from life’s pain. Thus, water people tend to be secretive and private.
It is important then, for water people to learn how to hone emotions through meditation and see the value in water. Water is real. Water makes us vulnerable and it makes us human. It connects us with spirit and with soul. If you want to achieve a happy, balanced, and beautiful life… you need water.
Positive qualities: understanding, placidity, mildness, trusting nature, devotion, mercy, forgiveness, modesty, compassion, fervor, pliancy, meditativeness, internalization...
Negative qualities: indifference, heartlessness, laziness, indolence, rigidity, lack of daring, lack of concern, unstableness, dejection...
The Element of Spirit ( admin approval needed)
(Closed Element for Now!)
The Element of Spirit (Necromantic)Spirit is a fifth element that is rare among the witches, with the signature trait of restoring life and healing others near instantaneously. Spirit users can also bring the dead back to life. When they do, it forges a bond between them and the person who died. The phenomenon is called "Spirit linked" and is FORBIDDEN. Someone who is Spirit linked can slip into the spirit user's mind and know their thoughts, and experience things as if they were the spirit user, and they also see ghosts. There are many negative side effects of spirit-it leads to depression and insanity As the witch Literally straddles both worlds.
Positive Qualities: Empathetic. Understanding, strong-willed, studious, Uniqueness, courage, artistic
Negative Qualities: Insanity, duality, tardiness, solidarity, Depression.

The Element of Earth
The element of earth (melancholic)
Earth people are grounded, practical, disciplined and focused. They like instruction, rules, and results combined with a dependable routine. They are also super organized and clean. In short, earth people are such perfectionists, they are always ready to take on any job or task themselves just to ensure it’s done properly. Even then, earth people don’t feel like they—or anything they do—is ever good enough.
While earth people have few friends, they are unwaveringly loyal to those they do have. Earth people are very monogamous when it comes to relationships. They refuse to engage in idle chitchat, and above all, earth people are deeply connected—as you might have guessed—to the earth.
Positive qualities: consistency, conscientiousness, perseverance, punctuality, caution, resistance, responsibility, carefulness, firmness, reliability, sobriety, ambition, respectfulness, matter-of-factness...
Negative qualities: stuffiness, superficiality, laziness, indifference, cumbersomeness, touchiness, lack of conscientiousness, irregularity, timidity, scornfulness...
