The Deveraux's

The Deveraux's are of French descent. Most of the elders have a strong Cajun accent and are fluent in French and English. The Deveraux's are known for having Black or Dark Brown hair. Light brown or hazel eyes and tanned skin. A lot of their genes seem to be dominant traits and it's not hard to spot a Deveraux.
The Deveraux family are direct Descendants of the Original Supreme Alysanne. And As such the women tend to keep their last names to make sure the name remains. They are the purest bloodline of magic and take great pride in that. Since the Time of the Twins and the great division. The Deveraux line has remained the most wealthy and powerful Family in Lafayette, Some even saying in Louisiana.
The Leveau's

The Leveau's of are Haitian descent, Having flawless dark skin and dark brown eyes. Their hair color tends to range from the darkest shades of black to the most chocolate shade of brown.
The Leveau family is perhaps the only family here that did not get their innate magic from the Deveraux bloodline. Instead, their original gifts stemmed from their religion and practice of hoodoo and or voodoo. It was for this very reason that Alysanne sought out Marie Leveau, and it said taught her the way of Witchcraft. How the Leveau became gifted with their witch gifts is unknown and lost in the history books….
The Leveau's are the most famous voodoo practitioners in Louisiana. With Voodoo shops being used as tourist attractions in New Orleans.
The Gerards

The Gerards are of Celtic descent and share some family ties with the O’connell’s. The Gerards are known to have Amber colored eyes and sometimes blue. Straight blonde to brown hair and are relatively stocky or thickly built.
The Gerard's are a family of elitists. They tend to keep to themselves because they think they are better than most. However, they tend to be fiercely loyal. The Gerards are also Proud Water elementals. About 90 percent of those born into this bloodline are born with the Element of Water. It is a rare thing to be Born into the Gerard family and not be a water elemental. If one is they are often looked down upon and outcasted to the Southside as a bastard.
The Castel's

The Castel's origins are unknown. It is possible their ancestors are from somewhere in Eastern Europe. However, most just think they are American. They are traditionally known as dark, broody, and wild. They have strong dark features. Jet black hair that tends to be either wavy or curly. Dark brown eyes. Pale skin. No discernible accents typically, Many of them have tattoos of gang symbols or religious symbols upon their bodies.
The Castel’s are one of the original Founding Family and the Family of the Southside. Ever Since Christopher Castel Seduced Lucille. Since then The Castel Family has carried on the Title of Supreme of the Southside. The Castel’s are the Family of the Southside, With Dominic Castel leading the Southside Coven, and essentially running the Southside. The Only competition he might have would be from his mostly trusted friend Justin Lin.
The O'connell's

The O'Connell's are Of Irish Descent. They are typically on the shorter side, and stockier or thicker built. They often have heavy Irish accents and a love for trouble and scrapping. They are known for their striking blue eyes and strawberry blonde or red hair.
It was in the year of 1869 that the O’Connell Line would change forever, Trading in their Magic for immortality. Kiernan O’connell, Son Of David O’connell would become the first Garou and with him changing the entire O’connell Line with him. Since Kiernan the O’Connell family have remained close to that of the Deveraux Family and acted as protectors.
They are inherently the Alphas of their race. Not to say that in time the race has not expanded over the world and others have claimed the title. But O'connells are the Alphas. Recently Collin O'connelll was Murdered. Taken out by a brotherhood member. Leaving the Role of Beta open to his nephew to claim prematurely.
The Lin Family, Not a Founding Family!

The Lin's Have traditional Thai Features and are of Asian Descent.
The Lin Family is an old family who fled from Thailand in the 1920s. The reasons why they ran are unknown but they came to the USA by way of smuggling or what some call human trafficking. Once here they set up roots in Chicago in the late 20s. Since then, the Family has done well for themselves. Picking up on American Culture and coming up well throughout Prohibition and the Jazz Era. Chanarong Lin Justin's Father worked close in hand as allowed with the Italian Mafia and learned quite a bit from them managing to not get in so deep that his family would never be free... After the death of Chanarong, Justin became the Patriarch of the Lin family.
In 2014 Dominic Castel visited Chicago to meet with Justin Lin after hearing of his skills within the magical community. After some convincing, Justin moved his family to Louisiana in mid-2015. Since 2017 Justin has been buying properties and finding ways to invest his money. Despite living in The Southside Justin has done well for himself and his family. He owns the Sunny Side Down Trailer Park and a few other businesses in the Southside.
In 2016 The Bayou Men were Formed, Founded by Justin Lin.
