The humans make up 70 percent of Lafayette, they far outnumber the magical, and yet somehow seem to be oblivious to the warring races around them. Perhaps they are simply ignorant, or it could be that the citizens of Lafayette are too busy trying to survive the war between the Northsiders and The Southsiders. 
  The Northsiders, have always looked down on the Southside. They are the safer, ritzier part of the town. North of the Bayou and swamp their air is not filled with that swampy smell, instead, its fresh air adds the allure of the Northside. Those who reside in the Northside of the Bayou are well off. Not everyone there is rolling in cash but they are comfortable for the most part. At the very least they are middle-classed suburban-like residents. Most Northsiders have an Air of arrogance about them. Snobby behavior is very common. They are elitists and consider themselves the best of the best. Even the worst and poorest Northside family is still better than any Southsider!

  The Southsiders are downtrodden. The poor, the low class. They are jaded and looked down upon. Many of the families on the south side are from broken homes. Many of the children have parents with dependency issues. Due to this fact, they often join gangs. Much violence and degenerative behavior happen in the southside. Murders, Rapes, and robberies all are daily things to happen here. 
  The Southside is south of the Bayou. Many use the bayou as a source of food as they fish and hunt around the bayou, which often ends up bad for many. Gators are also a strong threat to those on the south end as they rely on the bayou swamp far more than the Northside.
