Hand Fasting:  This is a Magical ceremony that replaces the act of marriage for Witches.   In many ways, it mimics that of the Christian marriage right but with different symbolism and Magic is highly involved.   After the vows are exchanged a high priest or priestess of the Coven will bind the couple with a wedding knot around their hands and then the union will be consummated with a public spectacle beneath the beaming light of a full moon. Hand Fasting only takes place during the full moons, they are shared for the coven and close coven friends only and must be sanctioned by one Supreme! This is a Witches Law!

Garou Mating: This is a wedding of sorts for the Garou.  Garou are said to Mate for life, and once they choose to do this the Alpha may sanction a formal mating.   When that happens a wedding of sorts will be held by the pack, in which mortals are allowed to attend, however the reception is Pack or " family " only.   During the reception, the pack will hunt lead by the new couple under the light of the moon. All prey or foods caught will be offered to the new couple as they are treated as Alphas for that very special night.

Sire Bond:  This is a bond formed when a Strigoi sires a new Strigoi. They form a strong blood link. Blood of their own Blood.   This bond is intense and strong. Very difficult to break,  a sire and a new strigoi will feel complete devotion, loyalty, and love for their sire and vice versa. Able to feel each other's pains and fears. Able to hear thoughts and Sire can Summon their "children" in which the Childre will have to obey.  It is extremely rare for a Childre to be able to break a sire bond. ( Ask Admins if you wish this )

Marking: This is what a Strigoi Calls it when they claim a mortal or a none strigoi being theirs. They will mark them with a brand of their fangs and the mark will stay there. It is typically on the neck, breast or upper thigh area. It is a warning that the person belongs to a specific strigoi and if another touches them there will be ic consequences!

Claiming: A Claiming happens between a garou and whom ever they have taken as their mate.  More often it happens when a Male garou claims another female. Its very often pack like mentality and often permission is sought from the alpha to do so, to stop the potential in fighting. HOWEVER rogues, would not ask for permission and therefore are able to claim whom they want. Garou, Witch, Mortal alike.  When a mate is claimed, is it down as a bite typically on the shoulder or some where else that can be displayed. The bite can  stay forever leaving a scar. And it does create a magical barrier that alerts other garou that this one is claimed.  

When a Garou claims a mate not a garou which is rare, the bond can prolong the life of the mate. Ergo the mate will likely live as long as their mate does.  But If the claiming garou dies prematurely and not of natural causes the mark will die as well and the mate will be alone.
